In 2010, he surprised political insiders when he nearly upset a heavily favored Democrat in the 53rd Assembly District. Nathan’s message resonates with voters — cut wasteful spending, streamline government, stop the corrosive influence of special interests, improve public safety and reduce the suffocating regulatory burden that’s killing jobs and economic growth. A strong advocate for legal reform, Nathan serves on the board of Californians Against Lawsuit Abuse, and is Vice-chair of the El Camino College District’s Boundary Review Committee. In 2010, Nathan co-founded California Common Sense, a group devoted to advancing pragmatic, non-partisan solutions to our state’s budget and economic problems. A lifelong California resident, Nathan is a homeowner in Torrance with his wife, Judy, and their dog Nopi. |
